Responsibilities:
- You will work with a team of software, computer vision and deep learning engineers to develop highly available and scalable distributed systems for the Vuforia Cloud platform following DevOps and agile practices.
- You will be a key contributor to design, implement, test, operate and maintain our Scala-based backend services and APIs that power many of the Vuforia features.
- You will contribute to deployment and automation tools, continuous integration, monitoring, alerting and security.
- You will influence current and future design, technology and architectural choices to help deliver high quality and well-crafted software keeping up with latest developments in cloud computing.
- You will engage in active code reviews, architecture and design discussions with peers.
Skills:
- In-depth understanding of web services, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases Solid knowledge of Python, Scala or functional programming concepts.
- Comfortable with Linux/Unix OSs and command line interfaces
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS or other cloud technologies is a strong plus
- Excellent communicator with good spoken and written English
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Engineering
