Emerson is currently seeking an Associate Engineer specializing in Mechanical Engineering for their Pune location. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have between zero to two years of experience in the field. As an Associate Engineer, the individual will be involved in various mechanical engineering projects, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.

Responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D CAD models and assemblies for the products using SolidWorks
• Modify existing models as per engineering revisions.
• Understand/prepare the product documentation.
• Develop Macros using SolidWorks and vb.net.
• Provide technical support for drawings to other functional teams.
• Provide necessary documentation and drawings/3D models required for Production/Manufacturing

Skills:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of Piping, Oil & Gas, Process Industry
• Sound knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry equipment, Instruments, ASME Standards
• Sound knowledge of CAD and PDM software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Good awareness of Sheetmetal, Casting, & Product Design
• GD&T, international standards like ASME, PED would be added advantage.
• MS office, Outlook
