Job Description

Sr. Interaction Designer will work with User Experience (UX) team at NVIDIA. You will work with a highly collaborative group of HCI professionals with a passion for innovation and a strong desire to revolutionize the way millions of users interact with hardware, software and services. You will work closely with the Marketing, Software Development, Quality Assurance and Documentation teams. Seasoned designers with big ideas and amazing talent who clearly understand the importance of incorporating user research and visual design into the user-centred design process are best suited for this role.


  • 5 plus years of relevant experience as Interaction designer
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction Design, Product Design or comparable; (Masters degree in design is preferred with Bachelors degree in engineering)
  • A strong portfolio available for viewing that can be discussed is required.
  • Be fluent in Microsoft Visio, Balsamiq, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Be fluent in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Blend, Adobe Flash and Flex, and HTML and CSS programming are a plus.
  • Experience in planning and conducting user research is ideal.
  • Experience in visual design is a plus but is not required.

  • Use of metrics and frequent user research data to influence design decisions is required.
  • Ability to learn new concepts, processes and technologies quickly is required
  • Design user experiences for Desktop, Web, Enterprise and Mobile platforms.
    • Contribute positively to design discussions visually, verbally and in writing:
    • Visually: create sketches, mind maps and storyboards for brainstorming.
    • Verbally: Provide constructive design commentary and evaluative critique.
    • In Writing: produce clear, thorough design specifications for others to consume.
  • Consider and apply business goals to design work.
